Join us and your four legged friends as we walk the runway in our “derby best”! Animal Care Society is grateful to be the exclusive beneficiary of the third annual “Rescues & Roses” dog fashion show and market!
Produced by The Dog Shop at NuLu Marketplace and many more, the event includes derby-inspired fashions from local boutiques, but the real stars of the red carpet are all of the adoptable dogs who accompany the runway models! Kick-off derby week with us at NuLu Marketplace where you’ll enjoy a Tito’s Vodka signature cocktail as you stroll through the marketplace of local merchants, bid on a couple silent auction items, then settle in to see ACS’s adoptable dogs walk the runway with models fashioning the latest from local boutiques and shops!

Derby Dog of the Year
During this year’s runway fashion show we’re inviting the public to enter their dogs for a chance to walk the runway! The “Derby Dog of the Year” contest is simple: register your dog for a $25 donation, upload a photo and description of your pup, and share on social media! Invite your family, friends, and followers to “Vote” for your dog for $5 per vote. The top five dogs with the most votes will be invited to walk the runway where one will be crowned “Rescues and Roses Derby Dog of the Year!” Please note: your pet does not have to be a rescue pet or adopted from Animal Care Society, but has the opportunity to support the work and mission of our organization!

Interested Vendors, please note that due to limited parking availability, vendors will need to find appropriate street parking. Set up 10:00-11:45. All vendors must be fully set up by 11:45. It is expected that vendors will remain on site for the duration of event and not begin breakdown until at least 4 PM. Vendors are responsible for providing their own tent, chair, tables, and any Wi-Fi/electrical needs.
